well at first, we thought he was just confused me as his dad a.k.a my elder brother..but then when we *me & my elder brother / his dad* were both around, he still seems so easy to came up on me..so we guess he's not really that confused :)

Drew Wave Goodbye To The X Factor

Finally she's out! she was once a frontrunner, the most sought after, & was also my most favorite contestant among all..but thanks a lot for a very good direction given by her mentor, Simon Cowell, she just turns out to be a bore one trick pony & officially no longer in the run for the 5 million contract..what a huge miss i must say..

i *or actually lots of people* used to think she was the most special & unique singer compared to the other contestant..with her such tender age, she just full of potential..but come on, it is a reality singing competition which based on fan votes..with her keep doin the same *or almost similar* formula in each & every week as the competition progressed, it just fell flat even if it was actually a good performance..just because the fact it was just another good performance like the other weeks before..too safe i may say?

but the most unpleasant thing to watch was her attitude which grows to adapt something from Simon - cockiness! i can hardly forget the moment when she said she cannot accept to hear bad comments as she always gets & expects good comments for her..& that was actually the major turn off which also made me no longer a fan of her..i liked her, but with that overly confident attitude, it was just ugly..

i honestly was not surprised at all that she was eliminated several nights ago..i even was hoping that Nicole & Paula do chose to eliminate her over Marcus, which what they actually just did, just to give Simon & Drew herself some lesson that they are not really that good & they do need to listen & accept others critiques, or at least be humble..& there you go, they finally drew Drew out of the competition..

i thought i liked Simon especially during AI years as i thought his comments was real..but as a mentor in the X Factor, i thought he was just a pain in the ass to watch..he kept commenting & giving some harsh critiques to other contestant but just seem to not accepting other judges comments & critiques to his girls at all..they should've given him the groups instead of the girls..

with Drew out of the game along with Astro, i hardly point out a favorite to win this 1st season of the X Factor USA with Josh, Marcus, Chris, Melanie & Rachel still remaining..not because none are deserving but mostly because none are the most deserving..its anyone chance now..everyone got their own something to offer, so its just the matter of how they gonna present themselves in the upcoming weeks to shine over others..good singing alone is just not enough..but i must say, if Chris happen to improve his singing, he somewhat got a big shot at winning..the girls are totally good at singing, just hoping Simon doesnt rely on that fact alone to give some competition to the table..while Josh & Marcus, they just need a right song to show their individuality in singing..

still, i wont mind checkin out Drew action in the showbiz in the feature..she do have somethin to offer..with the right direction & attitude, i maybe can be a fan again someday, sometime..who knows..till then, adios..

My Soft Pastel Drawing - Tukang Wayang Kulit

well this is not actually a new work of mine..already submitted it earlier last month..just forgotten to post it here..hoho..so here we go..

it was actually for our course project for this semester..for the task, we need to prepare a portfolio about figure drawing and a final drawing..i actually kinda enjoyed this course because we got to do lot's of drawings in class, even some real life drawing - but no, we got a fully clothed model instead..LOL..felt like so long since i last did some drawing for real huh..but yeah there were also some tense especially while making the portfolio with a very limited time..

so for the portfolio, we need to do some *actually a lot* sketches & drawings - specifically on figure drawing..so expect nothing but some revealing figure drawing..lol..but sorry i cannot post those drawings here because it was just too revealing for this blog - just wanna keep the decency of this blog (LMAO)..using some media like pencil, charcoal & pastel..& in the end, i've chosen to use soft pastel for my final drawing..

& the final drawing was actually need to be made and completed in a 3 hour session under the observation from some examiner - for the technique & etc..kinda horrifying huh..but in the end nobody really finished up their drawing in that session *except 1girl who came with her drawing already halfway done..lol*..

btw the final drawing must be of a craftsman working on a traditional craft.. we actually need to take the picture of the craftsman by ourselves & pick the best angle for the drawing..but we was just so short of time & didn't get to visit any craft centre..so of course in the end, internet do the wonder..thanks to Google Image, this is the pic i came out with..lmao!

& this is my final outcome..see..i didn't copied the whole thing, made some adjustment just to make it simpler & easier to draw..lol..& also to give a great focus on the craftsman himself *lame excuses*..& i am also not really a fan of realistic drawing & actually tried to give some Expressionist feeling to it by forming the figure somewhat like The Scream - but without losing the realistic feeling to it..not sure if i excelled in that..lol..but im pretty satisfied with what it turned out to be :)

& we also need to mount the drawing and frame it with glass..i chose a cream colored mounting board & a solid dark wood with gold line frame for the framing..seriously i've spent somewhat like an hour *maybe more!* picking the frame! not only to consider the color but also the size & most importantly, the price..huhu..& it cost more because i asked for the non-reflective a.k.a non-glare glass for a better view..but i think it's all worth :)

so what do you think about my new drawing? i named it Tukang Wayang Kulit a.k.a The Wayang Kulit Craftsman, because what else can be a better name than the explicit details about it..lol..& if you are wondering what is Wayang Kulit, it is a traditional puppet shadow play which is pretty common to the Southeast Asia Culture..it is known as Wayang Kulit in Malaysia & Indonesia with the word Wayang is a javanese word which means "shadow"..in Malaysia, it is most significant in the east coast especially Kelantan..just search for the word on the net & you'll find lots of information about it..lol

& yeah i know, only after it was framed *completely sealed at the back* i realized i didn't put my signature on it..T_T..so i got my signature signed on the back instead -_-..so thats it..pretty good for a drawing which was done in only about 3 days *just few hours a day & mostly just doing some touch up for a better result..lol* huh..wonder when will i be making my another masterpiece *not even that mastered..haha*..till then, peace out :)

Who Copied Who? - Sara Bareilles VS Michael Bublé

well this might be a little so late, but whatever..i am just so interested to talk about these two & the alleged copying thing..well there was not even a real allegation, but it was more like what people around been talking about..can we say a rumor?

So Who's Copying Who?

it all started in 2009 when Bublé released his first single from his new album Crazy Love, Haven't Met You Yet..it is completely a new song *not another cover version* but somehow, the song kinda reminds some of those music listeners to another song which was released two years before that, which is none other than Sara Bareilles big hit single from 2007, Love Song..

yea i know, the whole song was completely a different song..not even a verse sounds similar but this part..

get it? the piano riffs did sound so much alike, somewhat like brothers & sisters if not a boy-girl twins..lol..so yeah when i 1st heard the song, at the beginning, i did somewhat got this dejavu feeling to it..but then after that piano riffs, it was all gone..still this video which i've found on youtube totally just make sense to what i just thought..but that was it..except the piano riffs, the whole song got a totally different melody..

& then about couple months ago, this video for Sara's latest single, Gonna Get Over You came out..no it is totally a new song, a good one actually, which like usual, penned by herself..but it was the video which somewhat looks so damn familiar..

notice anything? no? then watch this music video of Haven't Met You Yet by Michael Bublé..yea the song which was claimed a rip-off of Sara's Love Song ;p

so now what do you think? notice anything similar? if not let me just list down some which i thought was just too similar to ignore from my simple observation..lol;p

Both videos started with a car moving scene (yea, not that similar)
Both videos took place in a supermarket
Both are enjoying themselves in the market like they own the market
One by one people in the market started to dance
Scene between the market shelves followed with confetti scene towards the end
Ended with they was just daydreaming @ just lost in their own world
Sara even dressed up with a quiet similar attire with Michael's love interest - white t-shirt + leather jacket + jeans! (but that maybe was just a regular sense of style)

but then, despite those similarities, there are also some differences which distance both the vids *i think*..

The storyline is totally different
Sara is working it out with some fun & goofy looking moves! rock it girl! XD
She also sport a rock chick look instead a pretty lady look
She somewhat put spell on those which pushed or touched by her to instantly changed their clothes *& hairstyle* to look like hers & dance along with her..lol
Those who was not touched by her are not affected & still doing their groceries like nothin happen
She didn't came up from her daydreaming by herself!
She was asked to leave the market..so sorry for her..but i love watching her walk! so cute! XD

but whatever..she said in her statement that the video was intended to be "a mash-up of Grease meets West Side Story meets a little market in East LA"..so all the similarities maybe just came as coincidence..who knows right..lol..but still i think the video is very fun & hillarious - so enjoyable to watch as it keep me smiling alone especially towards the end..lol ;p

so about who copied who? i would say, doesnt matter as long as the outcome is good! well nowadays it is not a rare thing to have heard some song with a similar tune & even a similar melody..it is already like a trend to use another song as a sample for a new song right..& no need to say about music videos..in the end, as long as it is still a good music, not a downgrade, so it is okay & acceptable *for me*..

anyway i love all those 3 songs *they are all in favorite playlist now..LMAO*..so whatever..& btw, i think these two are real good artist who did not use sex to sells..so we actually should celebrate instead of condemning..thats all for now, till the next post, peace all :)

Review: Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark, Just Be Afraid Of The Tooth Fairies

to be honest, the movie was totally not as i expected..well i hardly know about the movie, watched the trailer on tv once but i was just craving for a horror movie..so i insisted to watch the movie despite i only know Katie Holmes the most among the cast..we even somewhat thought we just got into a wrong cinema hall at the beginning of the movie! lol..but whatever, it is worth to watch :)

this movie is a remake from a 1973 television film with a twist on a tooth fairy myth, only this time as the antagonist..these tooth fairies had kids tooth as their food & are savage as they can brutally attack people to get what they want..plus they also appears in a terrifying figure despite their size..i honestly felt the first encounter with their physical was kinda nerve-wrecking just by looking at their built..like seriously, they were just disgustingly ugly..

the movie also appears to adapt the storyline & even some actions from the original but with another twist without overdoing it..they managed to create the thrills & suspense with some actions which can be pretty disturbing especially the one at the beginning, then a scene with Mr. Harris & another one with Kim towards the end..

i must say, the character Sally which very well played by Bailee Madison helped the movie to perform so much better..she adds colors to the story as we might be getting confused with her at the beginning and started to somewhat annoyed with her before turned out to pity her very well..Guy Pearce as Alex also very well annoyed me despite that i think he was more like just a supporting actor due to his appearance & performance but Katie Holmes as Kim was the one to pity the most as a future stepmother who tried to be the best mother she can be but ended up as the victim for all the trouble caused..

overall it may not be that surprisingly brilliantly horrifying, not even unpredictable..but it was pretty scary at some parts..pretty good for entertainment viewing..but i was just confused it was rated 18 as i think it was more like PG-13 movie..maybe just because of those few scenes of the tooth fairies brutal attack, i honestly dont know..but yeah im gonna give it 3.5/5 cause it was an enjoyable horror movie afterall

Review: Immortals Was Made Visually Awesome

we've watched this movie last night..& yeah i must say, i am pretty impressed with the shots, & the effects..they looked so incredibly made especially during the fight scenes..it was beautiful & gore at the same time..totally not suitable for underage & those who cannot stand bloody hardcore visuals..& sometimes it even looked a little bit too pretty as it turns out to be more like a beautiful visual show at some parts..with a beautifully made sets & backdrops *both real & CGI things*, there are even some scene transitions which looked so fascinating & big kudos for that..

unfortunately that's all about it, a visually pretty movie..because on the storytelling side, it was kinda poor, bore, & so much typical of this Greek Gods meets Spartans movies..maybe that what it supposed to be..another myth movie flick..this time its about Theseus & Minotaur mostly..

the story was not really that bad, but the plot did not help at all to give a boost to the storytelling..it was just plain & nothing much but boring..there was no excitement while following the story..thankfully the visual again did help me keep amazed & watching mostly on what's on the screen, but not for the story..even in some scenes, i was more attracted to watch what on the background instead of watching *dont ask me about listening* to the main characters, like the scene at the brazen bull site with some dead men at the background..i honestly was more forwarded to look up close to the dead men condition, trying to analyze those torturing method put on them instead of following the slow paced story..

& then there's four sexy clothed oracles *whom supposed to be virgin but with very appealing attire* which only 1 of them is the real oracle..with some little screen time *except for the real one* their stories was merely told with the real one who seems like a main character but her appearance was sometimes questionable especially towards the end..sometimes she was more like just a prop..*SPOILER ALERT*, anyway she's no more an oracle towards midway of the movie so that might be the major cause for her peek-a-boo appearances..

the ending was also very much confusing..mostly like suggesting a sequel, so much question left unanswered..but if there is a sequel, im not really sure if i would go to watch it..i might go to know whats really happening after the war, in the said-heaven, & also for sure for the dramatic & gorgeous shots..but i am totally not interested if the storyline adapts the same kind of plot & story telling..but anyway how do we know the story without watching it huh? lol..so overall, it is pretty worth to watch for the sake of the beautiful visual presentation, almost like an art i must say, but that's just it..i would give 3/5 for this movie..till the next post, ciao :)

p/s: anyway the movie face lots of censorship here i guess because there were clearly so much scenes been cut..still it was pretty much explicit in terms of violence..

Paranormal Activity 3 Is A Shocking Prequel

just got back from watching this movie with my buddy, Chun Hoong..& let me get this clear, i am a very big fan of this movie franchise..the 1st was great, the 2nd was quite better, but this 3rd installment is just..no exceptional..lol..i was afraid at 1st that i might be disapointed with this movie as some sites just give it quite just average *some even pretty bad* ratings..but damn with those ratings..this movie is good & it is a very MUST WATCH..especially for those who have watched the previous 2 movies..

it is another prequel..a very long prequel which took place way back when the sisters - Katie & Kristy was still just little girls..i was very worried about how they gonna connect this 3rd movie with the previous movies as the timeline was just too far..so i must give a big credit to those who write the story for making such a meaningful introduction..i mean, yeah the 1st 15 minutes was quite boring, but it does means a lot to the story..at least they didnt just throw in the story..kudos for that..but when the parents planned to do the bedroom scene, there the real excitements started..

sorry but im not gonna say anything about the story, about what happened & etc, because i dont wanna spoil the excitement to watch the movie..lol..but i must praised them for making the movie not just effectively surprising & horrifying, but also funny at some points..i mean theres some great funny moments which might be quiet expected but performed unexpectedly..& yeah, there are some part *actually a lot* in the movie which seems like predictable, but it eventually turned out to be more than what we just predicted, but in a good way..so yeah, it took the suspense, shock, & thrill level to a higher level..

but i must tell you this, for those who have watched the trailers, do not believe what you have seen, because there are so much differences between the trailers & the final movie..there are even multiple scenes in the trailers which dont even appear in the movie or actually twisted into another different stories or situations..so yeah, this actually quite disappoints me, because i did expected somethings from the trailers but ended up watchin something else..so please, if you have watched some of the trailers or maybe all of them, no need to think & wait for the scenes which appeared on the trailers to take place in the movie..lol..on the other hand, this strategy, i mean featuring scenes which are not from the movie in their trailers actually did help to make the movie much more interesting & terrifying..it helped to keep the surprising effect..& the surprises kept coming after another..*spoiler alert* even what shown on the poster didnt really quite appear in the movie..lol..

also, this time, i must say, i love the camera which placed in the living hall/kitchen the most..just by watching what viewed on the camera give a spooky feelin to me..a very good & simple but creative way to create the suspense effectively..of course this time, it is more visual than the previous 2 movies..lots of obvious abnormal movements captured..but thankfully it still didnt gone too graphical..we still cant see that thing but just a glimpse of its form..so yeah it does scares the hell out of me multiple times..

i wonder how they can made up such a very good story for this prequel because it does means a lot to the previous movies..lots of questions answered..yeah there are still some things havent been told..yet..like about the house which burned..but for sure they are still keeping lots of materials for the next installments..there might be another prequel as even this movie still ended with some questions left unanswered..and there should be a sequel for sure as what happened on the 2nd movie is still left untold..but i must say, they managed to keep this franchise interesting..so yeah, cannot wait for the next movie..wonder how they gonna twist the story again..so yeah i am still a fan..from 5, i would give 4..-1 only for the fact that i did got a little dizzier during some scenes compared from the previous movies..& the styling was also not quite enough believable for a video which took place on the 80's (even before i was born!)..lol..so thats it..for horror movie fans, this movie is the one not to be missed..peace out :)

p/s: my friend Chun Hoong cheated a lot as he covered his ears most of the time! lol..& there are some girls in the cinema screaming somewhat too much & pretty much annoying..some of them even said it loud that they're regretting their decision to watch this film..what? its a horror movie not a fairytale story..huhu..but the biggest turn off was, i heard a lot of ringtones! please silent your cellphones in the cinema! damn it!

Chuping Sugar Cane Plantation, Perlis - The Biggest Sugar Cane Field In Malaysia

so we actually planned to get there before sunrise, of course to watch the sunrise..lol..but we just didn't make it..well it's quite a long journey from Penang to Perlis ok..huhu..then it also started to rain when we arrived there so we decided to go to Satun 1st & only on our way back to Penang we decided to go back there to take some pictures, i mean after we eventually stopped at the Ostrich Farm..lol

so this sugar cane field is the biggest in Malaysia which is about 22,000 hectares of plantations & the name Chuping derived from a limestone hill in the area called Bukit Chuping..so what to expect from a big sugar cane field like that? of course, a beautiful scenery :)..so yeah we came there just to take some pictures, because im telling u, it is a perfect spot to do a photoshoot..so just check out some of the pictures we've taken that day..

Surprise, surprise..so who's laughing now? well she announced it clearly just after her elimination that she's releasing her new video for her own original single..to be honest, i was at first, at that very moment, was like "are you serious?"..but damn she is serious..& it is not even something like a homemade video @ a stupid low budget video with a ridiculous tune to it..

it actually turned out to be pretty good! the song, the vid, looks very well made..well yeah it is a gay themed song..but it is actually a very funny song..it even somewhat reminds me of Katy Perry's Ur So Gay..only this time, that guy *or actually those guys* is really gay for real..lol

well i mean it when i say that she would fit perfectly in a show like Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search For The Next Doll, because she does have what it takes to be something like that..she got the looks, the body, *just admit it, she is kinda hot* the moves, & she can pretty well sing..but to be in a show like X-Factor, it is still a singing competition where people wanna hear more of the singing above all..nevertheless, this next step she took actually just proven that Simon actually not 100% wrong..he's actually right that this chick does have a star potential..but more of as a modern pop star rather than a singing sensation..

with a right management & promotion, i wouldn't be surprised if this song will eventually entered any chart & become a hit..or maybe if she cant make it alone, maybe she should hook up with Robin Antin as again, i must say, she is a perfect material for the Pussycat Dolls..plus, she even already sounds a lot like Nicole Scherzinger right..arent there so much more empty spot left huh :)

X Factor US Is Kickin It HOT!

let me 1st be honest, i am very glad that Simon finally bring this show to the US because i am really just so bored & over with American Idol after some very disappointing cycles..well i know im not even american & not even resides in the states, but they are the mogul in this biz right..lol..but whatever it is, i am already a fan of this show ^_^

i think the format is way more interesting because there is more diversity among talents & the performances will also be more than just singing..so there would be no kinds of karaoke-like performance as the contestants are mentored by the judges themselves..ok enough talking about the show, i actually wanna talk about the finalists for each group with their mentor, also about some which i thought was just robed..first up, the GROUPS..

it was so obvious that they were having some difficulties in selecting the best finalists for the groups, not because of there was just so many great groups, but somewhat kinda lacking..maybe the groups was just not up to the par as they even formed two new groups from the rejected soloist, which was no doubt would get through to the liveshows just because they were the groups which formed by the judges themselves - but that is just my personal opinion..lol..because, i honestly thought there were some pretty good groups during the judges house stage, but didnt get picked..but hey its their mentor Paula Abdul's call..so heres the final 4 groups performance during the 1st liveshow..

1st - The Stereo Hogzz - i must say they got a good vocalist & they dance very well..thankfully this time they also got some members doin some rapping because if not, i would keep thinking that they are the male version of The Pussycat Dolls! i mean seriously! But at least the backup singers & dancers sound pretty harmony *no offense to the PCD because i do love them - they're just so hot..lol*

2nd - The Brewer Boys - i honestly kinda like their performance during the judges house..they sound pretty good & easy to listen..but maybe this time their performance was just too average & they kinda lose their x factor..so no wonder they didnt get throuh..still felt sorry for them though

3rd - InTENsity - this co-ed group formed by the judges i must say somewhat reminds me of k-pop groups just because of the number of their members..lol! i mean, it is very rare to find a group consisting that much of members in the western music industry, except if they are a choir group..right? but then, i must say this kids somewhat reminds me of High School Musical..well they are kids so maybe that is pretty appropriate huh..they did pretty good on the song, but sorry to say, it does sounds somewhat like something from Disney channel show..a high school talent show? hmm~

4th - Lakoda Rayne - actually i was quite surprised that they even made the cut because im not really sure about their performance during the judges house..but then, they are formed by the judges..yes they can sing, but as a group, im not really sure if they harmonize very well..yet..maybe its just the matter of time..& also maybe the genre does not bring right to them..i dont know..

Who Was Robed? - there was two groups that catches my attention during the judges house which are The Anser & Illusion/Confusion..i think they are pretty good as a vocal group & they harmonies very well..& there was like somewhat agenda when Illusion/Confusion performance was not shown much like the others..so yeah, smells somethin fishy there..so i was actually hoping to see one of them made the cut but unfortunately none of them did..huhu

then we move on to the BOYS..i didnt expect much from this group by L.A Reid..they was also somewhat a disappointment for me during the 1st live show..

1st - Astro - this lil boy sure can rap very well..yea he is good! but not sure if he can keep up the hotness with just rapping throughout the competition..even Cher Lloyd did once sing without raping while in the X Factor UK to keep up the game..

2nd - Marcus Canty - the only good vocalist left in this group i must say..he can sing really good but at some points he seems like tryin so hard..still didnt see the x factor on him..but it is still too early to say so lets just wait & see..

3rd - Chris Rene - he can actually be the one to look at in this group..he can rap & pretty well sing..its just the matter how he showcase them right..

4th - Phillip Lomax - i am really sorry but this spot is a total waste! i love Michael Buble, & i love this kind of music..but this guy here is doin no justice to this genre..sorry..& yeah he deserved to go home..

Who Was Robed? - im sorry but i actually dont have any favorite from the beginning for this group..lol..anyone among Brennin, Skyelor or Tim is more deserving from Lomax, except Nick Voss..he's just a no no..

about the OVER 30's, i must say, Nicole Scherzinger is doin no justice at all for this group! maybe Simon just picked the wrong person to take that seat from Cheryl Cole..

1st - Dexter Haygood - i honestly dont know what did Nicole saw in him..this spot was just a total waste..Britney & Katy may not be the best on singing live, but this guy just trashed their songs even worse! i actually thought the songs was mashed up very well but his performance was just bad..im sorry but yeah he is also the most deserving to go..

2nd - LeRoy Bell - wonder how does he look that good on the age of 60! he looks way younger than his actual age right? & yeah he also can sing pretty well..but with that pretty limited vocal range, not sure how far he can go..he is still something though~

3rd - Stacy Francis - i was not a fan during the bootcamp..because i think she just always overdone her part..then she wows me during the judges house..it was just an amazing performance which also made her a clear frontrunner in this group..but then, this time, she back sounds somewhat overdone the song..i dont know..she's good..just hoping she'll do her song just right & not trying too hard..

4th - Josh Krajcik - i am 50-50 on him..i like his voice, his tone, but i think his singing is just average..so lets just wait and see..

Who Was Robed? - i must say i am very disappointed that Crista Collins didnt made the cut..because she is something different..with that unique voice i was hoping to watch her as a finalist..Elaine Gibbs was also one of the showstopper during the bootcamp..but after her simple but still a breathtaking performance during the judges house, i was not really surprised she was not picked because for sure Nicole would not want two same type of singer in her team as Stacy just had an amazing performance to show that she's a better powerhouse singer..but then why not if that spot was to be wasted on Dexter? Tiger Budbill is another one who i thought was more deserving as he clearly have some more better singing technique among the guys in this group..

last but not least, the GIRLS which is clearly a team to watch for..it was already a very tough choice during the judges house, but i must say, i am not really happy with Simon Cowell choices..

1st - Melanie Amaro - yes she can sing & hit the high notes pretty well..but she still need to be really careful on her voice projection i think, especially on the high notes..her judges house performance was amazing, but this time she sounds more like screaming despite that she actually got a really beautiful voice..maybe she was just so nervous because it shows clearly on her face..nevertheless, she is still among the frontrunners..

2nd - Drew Ryniewicz - i am really sorry if you think im just being bias but i just love this girl so much..she's a clear frontrunner for me..i think she got the right x factor..love her voice & her style of singing very very much..at the age of 14, she manage to pull all the right strings very well..she made her performance seemed so effortless but still enchanting & breathtaking..the only thing which bothers me is the way she stands when she sings..thankfully she is sitting this time :p..

3rd - Rachel Crow - she is also actually another good singer in this group..but yes i must admit that after this performance i do strongly agree that she is still too young for this competition..she sounds kinda raw..& maybe it was also a bad song choice as Drew already made an amazing version of that song Baby on her audition..but again, she is still so young & there is a lot more room for improvement..i even thought she was just so lucky that Simone & Tiah just did really bad cos if not, she might be the one to go home..

4th - Simone Battle - another wasted spot..she dont even deserved to be on the top 8 girls..yeah she did quite well during the judges house *despite she actually cracked her voice! -_-*..but let me get this straight..if she is on that show searchin for the new member @ maybe the next PCD, she is totally the right choice..she even sounds a lot like Nicole Scherzinger dont you think so? her tone & the way she sing..almost like a copycat for me..she even dressed like 1..so i honestly dont know why Simon just love this Simone girl..maybe because of their similar name? lol..kidding~

5th - Tiah Tolliver - another very confusing choice been made by Simon..even her audition was a mess..like Paula & Nicole said on her audition, she keep changing keys..& she still keep doing that! dont you ever realize that Simon? it was an obvious wrong decision to get her till this stage..fullstop

Who Was Robed? - i must say, based on the judges house performance, Caitlin Koch was the most deserving to fill those spot which was given to Simone & Tiah..didnt even expected her to be the one being robed..while for Tora Woloshin & Jazzlyn Little, it was merely because of a wrong choice of song i guess because their song just didnt do any good in showcasing how good they actually are..Tora just sound so average while Jazzlyn song didnt sound right at all & she was all over the place..is it just bad luck? no idea~

but whatever it is, at least this time they did cut the right person..cant wait for the next live show..& yes, it is so obvious that i am rooting for none other than Drew Ryniewicz..lol..but then again, it is still too early to make any expectation as anything can happen as the competition goes on..till then, peace all

Ostrich Farm - Perlis

it was while on our way back from Satun that we stopped by for some ostrich feeding..lol..this Ostrich Farm is under the Perlis Central Veterinary Services a.k.a Pusat Perkhidmatan Veterinar Perlis..there is no entrance fee, so you can just walk in & meet the ostrich..but they do sell some food *or actually some plants* for the ostrich to the visitors for only RM1 a bunch, so why not just buy it :)

so here's some pics of us feeding the ostrich..it was an experience..i mean it was kinda scary at first but they actually kinda friendly..so just check out these pics..picture tells more than words right :)

Real Steel Is A Real Excitement

i know this is kinda late post..but whatever..its been awhile since i last posted a movie review..i havent watch much movies lately anyway..was packed with all those ass-sigh-mean a.k.a assignment things & also some craps which i just dont wanna talk about..& now i just realized i didnt managed my budget very well..so yeah its kinda pathetic..but whatever..lets just talk about the movie..

some friends actually already been talking about this movie way before the screening..my besties at campus Chun Hoong even somewhat like booked me for the movie..lol..but i am really Chun Hoong that i had to turned it down & i did explained it already right - movie is just out of my budget right now..till one day, an old friend which also a good friend of mine, Afiq, suddenly called insisted & forced me to go watch the movie with him..then i manage to asked him to treat me & so yeah we go for the movie..lol

i must say, my 1st thought when i saw the trailer long time ago, i was expecting it to be something like Transformers movies..then the girl at the ticket counter also said its gonna be a long movie around 2+ hours play duration..so yeah i was a bit worried its gonna be like the last Transformers movie which just ended up somewhat like too long & was quite boring to wait until it ends..huhu..but then, luckily i was wrong :)

this movie is totally nothing like Transformers except the fact it is a story about robots & human..lol..but this movie is way fun to watch, with a less heavier story compared to the Transformers, so it was a better movie on the entertainment side..the story somewhat reminds me of the movie Tekken but this time its about a kid who is really determined to prove that his trashed old training robot is so much better than people think it is..

this movie also counters a lot about the relationship between a dad & his son, how the never met before biological family build their eccentric relationship improperly, i mean without intention, which proves that family bond is not a relationship that can be thrown just like that..besides, this movie actually featured a lot about love of a dad to their kids..so yeah, it is also a very good family entertainment..

but to say its an award winning movie, it is more for leisure & entertainment but also packed with some appropriate actions & moral values..so yeah i must say it is recommended to watch especially for families with kids..but for those who is looking for some pure real action, i must say, it may not much up for your satisfaction needs, but it still pretty good..thats all..happy viewing..peace ^_^

so what up with Satun? actually theres nothin much in this frontier area but some locals selling some stuff like foods, clothes, kitchen utensils, plushies *like seriously*, & etc..but let me tell you this..it is so much Thailand even only at the border..& you can actually spot some rare stuff which can never be seen @ sell in Malaysia..wanna know, go see for yourself..lol..plus, the price also quite cheap..so you can actually ended up shoping something which you didnt plan @ expected:)

to be honest, lately or actually since i 1st heard this song, it just stuck in my head..till this moment..i mean this one song, none other than In The Night Sky by After School RED..huhu..why? i dont even know the words, hardly understand any of it, but solely just because of the intro phrase; I DONT WANNA LOVE, DONT WANNA LOVE YOU..."..hmm..who is that "YOU"..honestly i dont even know..lol..then why i just love it so much? seriously..i just dont know why..hoho

sometimes it kinda reminds me of how sweet love is, but how much pain does it cost..& sometimes it flashed some of my memories..those i thought i want to erase..but in the end there it is, still kept deep down inside somewhere in my mind, in my heart..not to regret but just as another memories..also as a lesson..but for real, theres not even much to keep..hahaha

while the 2nd one, i know her just right after it went down with the 1st one..that fast huh? lol.. but no, it was nothing but a friend..untill last year..yup! after years of silence & rarely say hi, it somewhat happened around last year..but in the end, it only last just for somewhat a month..& no i dont blame her..i would say, as a guy, i should take more responsibilities over the matter..but i didnt..so yeah it was completely my bad..huhu..& what ive learned the most from these two was, & guys out there please do take note, GIRLS DO NEED MUCH ATTENTION FROM YOU & DONT EVER DISREGARD THEIR NEEDS & FEELINGS..& maybe that is also the main reason ive decided to ride a solo life..because i am just no good with commitment, or should i say, im just no good with relationships..huhuhu

who can say that they never felt invisible? i am for sure just cant..because thats how i mostly led my life..being invisible, anonymous..hoho..yea it sounds kinda pathetic..it does feels kinda bad, sometimes..but in a way, sometimes it did gave me some good feelings..just like when we dont have to mind any other business & just flow freely..lol..yea i know that sounds kinda weird but thats just me;p

while this song pointing about the sadness of being invisible, i still enjoy listening to it..with a very deep emotion applied on the lyrics, it actually somewhat a relief for some who's on the same boat..it even somewhat like an anthem i guess, for the invisibles;p

i always know that Skylar is just a no typical artist since the Where'd You Go days..her effortless enchanting voice are just mesmerizing to listen..dont know why she only appears to get into the spotlight as a featured artist instead of herself..then she came up with Dance Without You which turns out to be scary actually..i mean literally! thats why i am so glad that this song just took her back to what she used to do..her that people knows & loved to hear:)

finally! my beloved JoJo is back! yay! damn ive been waiting for her since like forever..& i know whenever she came out with a new album its gonna be real good..her previous albums - JoJo & High Road, was a clear hit & also are pretty good records ..& trust JoJo as she will do it again this time - i hope..at least this new released single for her upcoming long awaited album Jumping Trains already sounds like something & totally are just addictive..& let me make this clear, we need more of real music & real artist like her instead of those using sex & etc to sell..dont you think so?

i know its already more than a week for all Moslem celebrating the Syawal, but it is for a month right..so just wanna wish all Happy Eid Mubarak & i would really love to ask forgiveness from all of you since i know i just been such a jerk sometimes..well im just a human being :)

i would say this year it is more exhausting just because everything felt so in rush..& of course like usual my mom was the 1 who's worked really hard for all the preparations:(..but Alhamdulillah, i still feels so blessed cause at least i still got the chance to celebrate it with my family this year..& all my siblings was back home *though my sist & family was not in the photo because they only back home on the 2nd day of Eid*..& plus theres some addition to the family, the lil grandchildren, Fadh & Aisyah - they did somewhat helps changed my perceptions about kids a lil bit:)

we also had some gathering during the 4th Eid, a kikah for the grandchildren..unfortunately theres no pics because i was recording it..lol..so yeah theres some vid but ill post it later after i did some editing maybe (hopefully i have some times for it)..

so thats all for now i guess..ill keep posting some more updates maybe later..the babies post are still lot more to come..lol..so yeah just stay tune & peace ^_^

so this time its my 1st niece a.k.a our family 2nd grandchild, my sister's daughter..she's only 2 months younger than Fadh..so they do look somewhat like the same size which they actually not..lol..& not like Fadh, she's actually a lil bit harder to take picture of just because its way harder to make her smile to the camera & she usually just ended up givin some 'blur' face to the camera..lol..but come on, she's only 4 months ok..hoho

& surprisingly, some of my aunt & uncle said she actually got my baby look..i mean my look when i was a baby..what? like seriously? lol..i honestly dont know..bt it is honestly quiet tricky to determine whos face she got more whether her mom @ her dad..lol

so heres just some of hers in action..well it is also pretty hard to attract her attention to look straight to the camera..but whatever..as long as she didnt cry..lol

so long havent met my 1st nephew which the 1st & the last time i saw him was while he was only about 1 month..& now he's already 6 months old! cant believe babies actually do grow up really fast..lol..now he look so much different..& he kinda have a more malay look which he got from his mom i guess;p

so these pics was taken around last raya, in one early morning when he just woke up & i was just coincidentally sittin there chekin out some photos in my camera..he looked at me & i was so worried if he start crying because i am totally just no good in handling kids, ESPECIALLY BABIES! so i just point my cam at him & surprisingly he just started smiling! lol..funny but true..so what else should i do? just take his pics & he seems really enjoying it..dont believe me? just check out these pics & judge by yourself;p

Captain America is HOT!

obviously the 1st thing i felt after watching this movie was plain JEALOUS! because Chris Evans got 1 hell of a hot bod! LOL..it is so unfair because he totally just made me felt so out of shape or shapeless or whatever it is..LMAO..pathetic..ok enough with that..straight to the movie..i think it was a pretty good movie..may not be great, not even that bad, pretty average but quiet good..

ok i know i was really excited to watch this movie..yes it doesnt really disappoint me but it doesnt quiet wows me..it was merely average but pretty good at some point, but still quiet far from great..

the story unveil the history about Captain America..who he was, & how he became the man & etc etc etc..there was some awesome action & fighting scenes..well its a superhero movie so we do expect to watch something over the top right..& they also got a pretty nice storyline..but it just seems kinda too slow maybe? at some point it was almost like a documentary with a little bit of twist of entertainment value i guess..but it just doesnt quiet worked..the fact that they've included some typically "comic based movies" effect was just so yesterday..& that totally doesnt helped the movie to be more than just a comic based movie..or maybe they just wanted to highlight the fact that it was based on a comic book character or else people may not know it? lame..seriously if they are aiming to make it completely like an old movie because of the time setting, they totally achieved that because it does look like a movie from the past..you know what i mean..

but, based on the title itself, it may be forgiven..i mean as an introduction to the upcomin The Avengers movie, it actually did pretty good..but as a standalone movie, i dont think so..it was more like just an introduction to an upcoming big movie rather than a solo movie itself..only at the end, i was quite satisfied and get the whole point and idea, that the movie is just an introduction..& the fact that they also stated The "First" Avenger on the title actually do make sense for the concept of the movie because it does look like it took place & even made way before the other Avengers movies..so i guess they did pick a really great & the most suitable title afterall..

so this is my advice, if you are lookin forward for The Avengers movie, you might wanna watch this movie..but if you are only eyeing for Captain America, just do not expect something bigger..peace out:)

p/s: but yes i do mean it when i said Captain America is HOT, literally (& yes i still think it is so unfair..LMAO)..but the movie itself, i guess they are saving the best for the upcoming The Avenger movie maybe..huhu

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 is Just The Best It Can Be

To be honest i am not really a big & loyal fan of Harry Potter..i loved them during the first 3 chapter..well ive been growing up with them at that time & it was just so exciting to watch someone who was about your age having this wonderful journey in somewhat a more magical (or actually a completely magical) world..it was like watchin our peers & ive always been dreaming about gettin into that world and have that journey along with them..LMAO..but come on, i was 12 years old at that time..LOL

but then, i dont know why but i just stopped watchin & following the franchise..it was like, ok im done with all this fantasy movies..they just dont make sense..something like a kid tryin to be matured i guess..lol..so yeah i kinda missed the rest of the franchise (did watch some on dvd at some cousins home, but dont even pay much attention..huhu)

but it all ends last year when the final chapter came out, i mean the first installment..at first i was not so eager to go watch them because ive missed so much about the stories..but my brother is a very big fan of the franchise..& with the idea which they are all grown up, so i think why not..maybe its gonna be fun..

but then, unfortunately i was not quiet satisfied with the movie..maybe because the fact that i already missed the whole stories so i ended up so much lost during the movie..but i would say the biggest disappointment was, it runs kinda slow & it was not as ive expected..but then it was only part 1..maybe they are keeping the best for the last..thats what i thought..& thank god i was right

this part 2 is a whole different stories..from the beginning it just started off really well..and the story grows bigger and bigger, with more excitement, so much conflict, it was just breathtaking..the development of the story was made so fine which was also mind blowing..no bored factor indeed because it successfully manage to catch our attention with all the suspense & surprises..& i just love how they reveal all the truth behind the whole stories..with some flashback, it did help me to refresh some memories and also gain some actually to make how all those things happens make sense in each and every way..

ive never read the book so to be honest, from what ive watched, nothing in this movie was predictable..& there is just no other way to make it better than this because it was just simply brilliant..the only problem maybe was during the ending..no not about how it ends..but more of how they look..it was just not quiet believable i guess, because they still looks the same except with some added details which i would say only made them look more scruffy than what it should've been..i guess the make up just didnt worked really well..but hey, its just my own personal opinion:)

so thats it..i would say this movie is the one that not to be missed, especially for Harry Potter fans & even for those who's in the same boat with me;p..& personally for me, it gave me somewhat all what it takes to be the best movie for this year, yet so far..so enjoy..peace all:)

p/s: we didnt watch it in 3D because we were not convinced by its 3D trailer..& honestly i think its already a great movie which dont even need that 3D thingy to make you pay for more:)

Ladda Land is Really Haunted

yea i know this is also a very late post..again..lol..but again, whatever..i am still gonna make this post..hohoho

so its been awhile since i last watched a Thai horror movie..the last one was Coming Soon i guess..which was very disappointing actually for me because it just didnt came as horrifying as i expected..well some of my friends told me it was very scary & etc etc etc but when i watch it by myself, i was just left alone so much regretting it..huhuhu..but this time around, thank god i am totally not disapointed at all:)

yes the suspense works really good & the horrifying essence was made just nice..plus the sound effect really brings out the nerves & manage to make the situation more thrilling..

not to forget, the storyline was very good too..it was very heartbreaking to watch how the family fell apart because of all these things happened around them..sometimes it was very painful to watch Thee a.k.a the dad kept on doing some stupid things..but thats the reality..when everything just didnt go as planned, we may just lost our minds and made some stupid decision without thinking about the consequences..things just gone so much heartfelt at times & it was a good drama..

but i think the most heartbreaking fact was that Thee been doing all those stuff for the love of a dad to his family..& it all ends with a tragedy..well Thai horror movie used to be really good in adapting a good drama into a scary situation like they did in Nangnak..& yeah i have to admit its been so long since ive seen a good one, but here it is, finally a good movie which are not just a good entertainment but so much value brought along to be learned..

so yeah, i am really recommending this movie to all the movie goers especially horror movie lovers because it is not just plain scary but also thoughtful..& again i am tellin you, Ladda Land is totally haunted..so be prepared both mentally & emotionally..lol..peace all :)

p/s: the only scene i so much against was the cat killin scene..damn i hate that scene! T_T

Larry Crowne is a Must Watch!

nothin much to say but seriously this movie is a must watch!

first of all, its a Tom Hanks movie..so spoiler alert, you'll see lots of his name in the montage..lol..is that even counted as a spoiler? XD..ok just cut it short..to be honest i am not a fan of Tom Hanks..not even familiar with his movies..i was more forward to watch Julia Roberts actually..always love her especially her smiles, don't tell me you dont love it cause if you dont, you are just plain jealous..LMAO..kidding;p

to be completely honest, i also felt really bad for underestimating Tom Hanks because i totally didnt expect the movie to be this good, i mean really good! it was a perfect romantic comedy..nothin bored about it..it was just simply sweet & a pleasure to watch..

so what about this movie? i am not gonna tell you because you gonna get your ass up and watch it by yourself..i hope you will because if you dont, its your total loss..hoho..wow why ive been so meaning to ask you to watch this movie? because you gonna have to watch it by yourself to know what am i talkin about..hahaha

ok why do i love this movie so much..its a great comedy which didnt came silly but actually mind blowing..it quiet reminds me of the series Community just because this movie also took place in a community college..ok i love that series so much, but no this movie is nothin like that series..and the comedy are also a very good one without having to come into a silly situation..you know what i mean..sometimes a comedy movie will create some silly situation which just seems kinda too much for a realistic minds..but here in this movie, it all came in a natural way just like in a real life story..sure there was some drama but it was nicely done without having to make the scenes kinda too dramatized..

it is actually a very good movie for the teachers society..i mean more for a lecturer actually..it actually gave us or at least me some new perspective in confronting students..i was really impressed by the skills shown in this movie..it was simply brilliant..& the best part i have to say was the handphones parts..it was simply hilarious still educating at the same time:)

& plus, it is also a suitable movie for everyone eventhough i am not sure if this kind of comedy will get through to the young minds i mean kids..haha..but yeah there was no disturbing & age appropriate imagery i think, except some stills on a desktop..LMAO..& not to forget some fierce kissing scene..LOL..but i would totally consider it more as hilarious rather than sensual XD

so thats it i guess..enjoyed a lot watching this movie & i guarantee you it is not disapointing at all..so just go watch it by yourself & enjoy every bit of it

Holiday Movies : Part 2 - I Spit On Your Grave

i know this was soooo outdated but whatever, i am still gonna make a review for this movie..

f.y.i, this movie is a remake of a 1978 movie with the same re-release name (it was 1st released as Day Of The Woman) & like what written on the poster, yes this movie is indeed brutally shocking..very disturbing actually i would say..mostly because of the violence scene..it's a rape & revenge film & please do take note, IT IS VERY GRAPHICAL!

ive never watched the original movie so i honestly dont know if this movie came up to the par as equally disturbing as it should be..but left alone the fact its a remake, i would say it manage to make the movie so much painful to watch..not in a way of watchin a bad movie i mean..

but lets make it clear, it is totally not suitable for public viewing & totally not suitable for underage..lots of nudity, very disturbing act especially the rape & torture scenes, & explicit material (i mean both visually & words)

the most shocking scene i would say the rape & torture part..honestly it is very shocking which i, myself, dont even think its gonna be that much to be featured in a movie..but to tell you, that scene really brings the nerves out of me..you totally can feel the pain & seriously so sick to death with what they did..

but honestly i was quite disapointed with the revenge though..yes it was very well structured..its quiet reminds me of the movie franchise Saw things..but it just not much disturbing as the rape scene part..yes it was painful to watch but it was less than while watching the rape & torture scenes..but overall it was good..

there was also so much question left unanswered..especially how she survived & prepare for the revenge..there were some clue but it was just too blurry..& also not to forget about what the hell happened to the sheriff's daughter..but i guess their focus was on Miss Hills movements not the bait..

honestly i dont know if i should recommend this movie or not..but i should say that Sarah Butler should really get a recognition for her amazing performance..it is obviously a very hard & challenging role to fit in..so yeah it is a good movie (especially based on the acting) if you are looking for somewhat unpleasant to watch..but for entertainment, please just forget it..

Confessions Of a So-Called Teacher - "P.E Class"

finally another "confessions" post since long forgotten..lol..ok this time i wanna talk about P.E class or to be exact PHYSICAL EDUCATION class..well just a brief introduction, i just started my 2nd session of my practicum..but this time its gonna be for 2 whole month instead of 1 month..& ill be teaching 2 subject instead of 1 which is my major subject, Visual Art Education, & the 2nd one is my 1st minor none other than Physical Education..

well people might typically think that i am so lucky & it is just a piece of cake to teach these two subjects but let me get this clear, IT IS NOT EASY! yes these are somewhat the easiest subject for kids i guess but teaching them, just let say it is not as easy as it looks..

today i just had my 1st P.E class with year 5 pupil..i am pretty lucky to have these class actually because 11 year old kids are totally much easier to handle..well ive been struggling on my last practicum when i had to handle kids from 7 to 10 years old which i would say 7 & 8 years old are the most challenging one..so this is my 1st experience with year 5 kids & yes they are more manageable..

well i would say the most significant similarities between handling Art class & P.E class are totally the class control & the enjoyable factor..these two classes needs to be interesting but in the same time manageable..class must be enjoyable so that kids would be drown into the class or else its gonna be a dull one..while class control is totally a must to make sure everything gonna be on the right line cos u just dont wanna have a class with kids doing their own thing except what u ask for..

so i think ive manage to have a nice class control on my 1st P.E class..well class control was like my most biggest problem on my last practicum, but still this time it was with 11 years old kids so its quite an exceptional i guess..but on the enjoybale side, i think theres a lot more to improve..with some other class on the field, it was actually quite like a competition with other classes to have the most interesting activity..& i dont think ive quite made the best one..there was a time kids really are enjoying the activity but as some point they was like pointing at kids from other class to join them with what they were doin..

it actually gives me some clear clue that as a P.E teacher, its not only about gettin the kids play around but to get them to enjoy & get excited with what they are doin..an ordinary activity is just not enough..with various sociocultural background, a simple & common activity just not gonna do it..we actually needs to invent a new games which is easy to manage but interesting enough to get the kids stuck with the class..but most of all, it must includes all the kids participation..yea i know it is totally not an easy job

so yeah i would definitely try to think & form a more creative, interesting & fun activity for my next P.E class..& by the next 2 weeks, i would have to teach them high jumping! my gosh..its been like 8 years since i stop high jumping..dont know if i still can do it..but no excuses i am so gonna do it..LMAO..just wish me luck k guys..peace all ^_^

Holiday Movies : Part 1 - Insidious

i know this might came pretty late but better late than never right..lol..so just wanna share my thoughts or review about some movies ive watched during my last semester break..1st up, INSIDIOUS..

seriously when i was watching the movie, i am not aware about the creator at all..so yeah i only know the fact that it came from the maker of SAW & PARANORMAL ACTIVITY which both are among my all time favorite thriller & horror movies while lookin for the poster to include in this post! LMAO

but whatever, lets just cut it short to the review..actually i have nothin much to say about this movie but it is totally a must watch! seriously, it really got my nerves..i am really feelin it..the last time i felt the same way was while watchin Paranormal Activity..i mean the 2nd one..well the 1st one was equally horrifying too okay..hoho

but the difference was this time you'll get to see the ghosts so clearly..i mean lots of them..cause there are lots of ghost appearances especially towards the end..& i mean some obvious appearances..& the funny thing is, though some of the ghost somewhat look quite funny but it still manage to scare the hell out of me..& dont worry, these ghost is not like those in the movie 13th GHOST where the ghost just looked like some halloween goers *i mean a very good 1 though..haha* ..lol

the story was pretty good too..a bit like SUPERNATURAL but that is so much forgiven because i love Supernatural..lol..only that those ghostbusters somewhat look a bit too cartoonish i guess which quite distratcted my horrifying mood..LMAO..but whatever, the story was still pretty good..

so thats it..if you are wondering about the story, whats the short description or synopsis are tellin is all about it..cannot tell more because you dont wanna know..hehe..so just go watch it by yourself..& dont worry, it is also suitable for family viewing because nothin so graphical shown in this movie..so yeah it is safe to watch with children..just beware to scream..LMAO..thats all..peace all :)

Halal Dim Sum @ Xinjiang Restaurant, Klana Resort

this is actually happened like few days ago at the beginning of our semester break.. ive read about this restaurant & their dim sum buffet in several blogs before but never get to go & try them for myself..well i honestly been craving for dim sum quiet awhile already..but seriously it is really hard to find a HALAL dim sum with a reasonable price..this one might be pretty expensive *for me at least* but it seriously worth every penny..trust me..

the interior of the restaurant - we were the only customer at that time actually..huhu

1st round..or to be exact, just some of it..lol

2nd round..again just a part of it..huhu

enjoying every bite of it ^_^

really that hungry eh? hoho~

no other better proof than the leftover itself..LMAO

so yeah it was like ticking a box in my "must-do" list..hehe..& i am really satisfied with it..this buffet package cost only RM30 per person for adult and RM21 for children..& this package including a complimentary soup for appetizer, a bottomless chinese tea, a whole lot of dim sum as much as you can which is prepared as you ordered, & also a desert..so yeah there is a lot to enjoy..but there is a twist *as mentioned on the menu*..you'll be charge RM10 for every 100gm of food not consumed..not sure if that really applied because we did make sure we finished all those we ordered..LMAO XD..& yeah that also excluding service charge and tax, but its not gonna be too much, i mean least than RM10 i guess..hoho

American Idol 2011 Top 2

ok before i go further, i would honestly say, i am so not gonna watch the finale..at least the top 2 performance..huhu..yeah i am kinda disappointed..i mean actually really disappointed..

its gonna be Lauren VS Scotty..ok fine i used to like Lauren..she was actually one of my favourite contestant in the beginning..but after several weeks, it just didnt get anywhere better..i think she was okay..but thats just it..she got a really nice voice..but her performances was not exciting..i just gettin bored watching her..so yeah i still like her voice but i just wish she is more playful and refreshing..thats all

while Scotty..never seen him as a favorite..maybe just because im totally not a country music fan..lol..so totally not even interested to watch his performance since the beginning..i mean i watched some but its just the same..he totally not something or someone who can made me love the song they sing whatever the genre is..so yeah..totally not a fan at all..sorry..

but come on, this is "American" Idol - where country music is like big! while im not even American..LMAO..but i am just hoping that theres someone will be internationally successful after Kelly Clarkson..hoho..& still those who didnt win or dont even get to be the final two sometimes can make it bigger than the winner..like Daughtry..right? so yeah..whatever

to be honest, i would prefer to watch Haley on the finale..she was not one of my fav..but she just grows on me week after week..especially after her Rolling In The Deep performance..how i just love her voice..I even very sure she would make it to the final as she seems getting herself into a safer place week after week..but hell im so wrong..still i think she did the best during the top 3 especially with her Rhiannon performance..never heard the song but i really enjoyed it a lot..while on What is And What Should Never Be performance, despite that fall, she still killed the song..

like ive told you earlier, its already been like my routine to countdown the paper during exam..lol..& i still & will continue that habit i guess..haha..so yeah, today i paper down, & 4 more paper to go..& here, i present *drumroll*, my full exam schedule..huhu

how was it? killin right..especially for next week..my gosh..i just dont wanna think about it yet..hoho..so what about the 1st paper which i just took this evening?

overall i would say - NIGHTMARE! honestly, it was almost like the most terrible exam experience i had..i mean i had some other terrible experience..LMAO..but this one i am so sure i would remember it for a very long time..at 1st it was okay..ive read some..hmm..ok lets start about my revision last night first..huhu

last night i tried to finally do my revision..so that evening, ive already printed out some notes for that so-called revision..& i tried to keep myself away from my lappy especially with facebook on *like seriously..lol*..but then for several time, after ive read some lines on those papers *which i dont even think ive finished 1 page that night..haha*, i would turn to facebook & facebooking *what else i can do with facebook..duh*..& finally around 11pm, i was somewhat determined to focus on my revision *yeah right*..so i go straight to those notes, & after awhile i ended up sleeping..LMAO! but that doesnt end there..because i somewhat having some sleeping problem lately, so i woke up around 2am just to take off those notes from my bed & switch off the lamp..lol..& again that doesnt end there..woke up again & again & again..& i dont know why, i didnt even think to continue my revision after that..because whenever i woke up, the only thing i kept thinking was to get back to sleep..hahaha..good boy XD

so yeah it was really suck..& it continues till morning..woke up around 7am just to continue sleeping till 8am, & finally around 9.30am, i woke up for real..beacuse i just somewhat so really damn tired of tryin to sleep..huhu..& finally i tried to continue my revision & i somewhat manage to finish scanning all those notes..i mean just scanning..haha..whatever..at least i did read all those notes *i guess*..huhu..

so about the exam..at 1st it was okay i guess..of course im having some *or maybe a lot* problem with the questions but i still manage to get some answers *doesnt mean they are all right..hoho*..for the last 1 hour left, i started to do section C which is essay question..well i actually already had some really bad feeling about my pens *i brought two pens* but just dont wanna think about it..but yeah the least i hope would ever happened just became reality..my pens just runs out of ink! one by one! OMG! & i stil got about 1 1/2 question left to be answered..my gosh! luckily i also brought 2 pencils so i continued about 3 1/2 pages of essay written with pencils..huhu..i really hope that is acceptable..-_-

my fav & regular pen..*this is a non-paid advertisement..lol*

so yeah thats why i called it a nightmare..huhu..so the moral of the story, do not judge ur pens by the quantity but by its ink..hahaha..what a shame..thats all i guess..huhu..see ya later..

i think its already been like my regular semester study pattern..but it just gettin even worse by semester..& this semester is no exception..well the flow would regularly be like this:

1st - not pleasant to start the new sem
2nd - gettin better after a few weeks
3rd - somewhat determined to change for a better me
4th - giving the best for the earlier assignments
5th - giving so-so for the later assignments
6th - doing the least for the last assignment
7th - im done with this semester
8th - owh wait! theres a final exam! whatever~
9th - revision? uhm..ok..wait a sec~
10th - the paper is tomorrow? uhm..ok..*mode: revision = zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz*
11th - *after paper*..ok i dont wanna talk or discuss about the paper..thank you
12th - counting: "1 down, 4 more to go" continuously..
13th - last paper done! yay! holiday! result? whatever~
14th - *new sem - last sem result* downgrade? uhm..again? uhm uhm..
15th - time to start the cycle allover again ^_^

so yeah..thats it..& right now, im currently on the 9th phase..so yeah i am so dead..peace all ^_^

this may sounds kinda funny & surreal *is it?*..in the middle of our study week *& i got a paper this thursday*, i just manage to made up a new blog for me, for myself..LOL..but still, that doesnt mean i'm not gonna post in here no more..this blog would still have my major updates, blurbs, review, & etc..but that other blog is just for the other side of me ^_^

okay why do i even need that other blog since i already got my space here? the major cause would be for a more personal & free spirited me..LMAO..naa..just that i feel i got more restricted in this blog, mostly because of the use of the language..yeah seriously i would really need to admit that my english is not really that good which sometimes causing me some barriers to express myself more..but even when i 1st made up this blog, beside to keep in touch with my bestfriend in the Philippines, it was also made as platform for myself to improve my english & writing skill - which im not really sure how far that goal been achieved..hahaha

i know this is a very very late post..might be rotten already..but still i am posting it though..lol..just to show off some of what we did for the past few weeks..& this time its for our campus sports day which was held last week from 3rd to 5th of May..

dont know how many Malaysian have heard of her..but i honestly, just found out about her today when a friend in facebook just promoted this song, Katakanlah ( "say it" @ "tell me" )..usually this kind of song are just not my cup of coffee..but after replaying the song for several times, this song is really something..with a very poetic but simple lyrics, i think i kinda like this song;p

Confessions Of a So-Called Teacher - "Kids!"

lets face it, kids is like the life of a teacher..why? because as a teacher u would have kids surrounding your life..but for me, honestly, I DONT LIKE KIDS! yeah it is really hurtful but its true.. its not that i hate kids but i just dont like them..get it? hate & dont like is a totally different thing ok *as for me..lol*..

as a teacher, when u enter the class, the most important thing would be CLASS CONTROL..while for someone who just doesnt like kids, i majorly failed on this aspect during some of my class..its hard for you to control the class especially with those little rascals & the fact that u just dont like them which also made it clear u will have a problem to communicate & mix with them..so yeah, there is no doubt that was the biggest problem ive been facing for the whole month..

so what did i do? heres some tips & tricks:

1. pretend like u "like" them
2. use a "gentle" approach when communicating with them
3. make up some class rules which including the "payment" they will get if they disobey
4. raise your voice as you gonna need them to take their attention

if u follow these tips & tricks, i am pretty sure u will end up in "HEAVEN" or if u didnt get what i mean, the reverse of it..i mean seriously because kids nowadays are:

1. easily spoiled
2. will get on top of u whenever they know they can
3. not scared of punishment & etc! - & i mean no kidding!
4. all about themselves..which sometimes appear to be less of respect towards people even their teachers..

yea i know those thing ive listed sounds kinda cruel & quiet a very bad judgment..but im just being real *maybe also affected by the fact that i dont like them..lol..sorry*..but honestly, that was the exact response i got when i use those approaches..

so what should we do? *maybe the best to suit is "what should i do?"..hoho*..& heres what i did next:

1. be decisive yet not too hard cos u dont wanna have a dull class with kids who seems so robotic
2. make up a tagline for the class - ill post abt this later
3. use some personal approach to those problematic kids

but wht i started love to do is:

BE FIERCE WHENEVER THEY ARE ABOUT TO TAKE ON YOU!

hahaha..how? wht kind of fierce? i guess that part u gonna have to figure out yourself..but all i can say is BE FIERCE! lol..

but still, actually it all depends on every teachers personal take on kids..everybody got their own way of handling this kinda stuff right..some approach may work for some teachers but may not work at all for some others..right? ok i guess thats all for now..c ya later..peace out

yea this is kinda funny but like seriously, i am actually a teacher-to-be *i'd prefer tht phrase over "wannabe" i guess..lol*..ok2 lets just make it short..i actually jst finished my 1st practicum session about 2 weeks ago..yea after 4 school based experience a.k.a SBE session, we finally gone to school & do the real *smewht like* teachers thing..i mean teaching & etc of course..cause during SBE we only kinda observing the environment, as what i used to do..lol

so yeah, again LETS MAKE IT SHORT! huhu..sorry..but i guess i need some more introduction to the title of this post..lalala..ok about the title..ive decided to put on this ironic title *as i may consider it* because there are actually so many things to say, to write, & to post on this new topic or maybe i should say a new side of me! *did i get that right? whatever!*..but yeah i may not be able to blurbs about everything in a post, so ive decided to divide it into several small & hot topics..& for this 1st post, it will be all about PRACTICUM and ONLY! get it?

so yeah, what is practicum? the exact definition, i guess u gonna need to refer to dictionary & etc but i would say its somewhat like on job training or the easiest way to say, practical training..but here we call it practicum or maybe it is just simply practicum..lol..(mode: stupid + lame)..

as a teacher-to-be or to be exact an ART teacher-to-be, i must say this profession is not as easy as u think..i mean seriously, u would never know how hard it is to be a "TEACHER" until u become 1..dont trust me? try to be a teacher just for a day..then you'll know

the thing i "love" the most during this practicum thing would be preparing the DAILY LESSON PLAN! like seriously, i just became from zero to..err..i can write a proper daily lesson plan..lol..for every class, i would need to plan the lesson all handwritten in the specially-designed-for-that-thing book which would be an average 5 pages..yeah! I LOVE IT SO MUCH! *get my point?*..but whatever it is, this thing called DAILY LESSON PLAN is a MUST DO for every teacher, so no excuses..

ok..next i would talk about..wait, i guess thats all for now..because..i think im done for now *is it acceptable?* so i will continue in the next post, more about practicum but in some more different view and aspect..honestly i dont even think anybody would read all this crap but here i go just like a lil stupid & innocent child *i know that doesnt sound right at all* who kept talking by himself all on his own..*already sounds so pathetic..lol*..but whatever..ive been meaning to write all this so here it goes..whatever

anyway my overall review for my 1st practicum session would be - so-so..wanna know why? wait for the next next next & next post..hahaha..& sorry that i dont have any picture frm tht practicum to attach, cos my practicum was just "pictureless"..LMAO..peace all

this is Fadhlullah who is my brother, Hafizzullah & his wife Asmah 1st son..he is now already abt 2 months old..while this pic was taken when he was only abt 1 month when i go visit them during last school holiday..they said he got more of his moms looks..he weigh in 3.7kg when he was born..

my parents also came down 2 KL 2 visit their 1st grandson during tht school break..they stayed there abt 5 days..

wonder how would they look during this years' eid mubarrak which is around end of august..lol..again congrats 2 both my brother & wife, also my sist & husband ^^

btw both of them were delivered via c-section a.k.a cesarean section..

well i guess all AI fans out there alrdy knew abt whos e 1st 1 booted off frm e show..which im not really surprised actually..i mean seriously i was more stunned tht she (Ashton Jones) was picked frm e wildcard..no offense bt i jst felt like there were some who deserves e spot more thn her..

but na im not gonna talk abt it *again*..cos this time it is abt this 1 "idol" who dont even gt e chance 2 compete as e top 24..but he surely made a huge fan base alrdy..i still remember when AI first aired this season and this guy audition was featured, i didnt even gt e chance 2 watch e show on TV, but i found out abt him bcos so many of my friends on fb posted their status stating his name..& tht was how i 1st introduced 2 this wonderful guy named Chris Medina

my 1st thought was, theres a lil bit of dejavu as it seems like somethin similar from previous season - which clearly is Danny Gokey..then he opened his mouth & this amazing voice came out..well Danny Gokey also got a really nice voice right..but theres somethin different abt him..i dnt really know y..bt he really jst touch people not jst by his story bt also bcause of himslef..he's jst too good to b true..but he is..honestly i really look up on him

actually ive kept this post 4 several days already..lol..*didnt get 2 finish it till now!!! - so much to do* hoho..

ok jst wanna talk abt my beloved 1 & only Avril Lavigne latest album, Goodbye Lullaby..yes ive been waiting so long for this 4th album of her 2 come out..& after tht statement she made about its gonna b a departure from wht she used to do (in music), i only got more excited 2 find out how's e sounds gonna b..& so several days ago i found this preview with her personal commentary on her fb page..

2 be honest..I LOVE HER NEW SOUNDS!!! yea seriously!!! its quiet different but still her..or should i say, it quiet reminds me of her 1st album - Let Go..but this time its more mellow, more melodic, & more deep..& honestly i love tht she didnt affected by tht so much of machine generated sounds like auto tune & etc which pretty much alrdy bcomin nowadays music trends..its like back 2 basic of wht music really are; e instruments, e vocal, & e melody..so yeah i really love it..

so wht else i wanna say? nothin..but i am so gonna get a copy..& u should too..peace ^^

Terima Kasih Cinta - The Musical Theater

This is so not a very new post..i mean, ive kept this *in my mind* 4 about a week alrdy..only now i got to post it..lol..but i think its still not too late:)..so here is it, a bit about Terima Kasih Cinta (thank you love) the musical theater, from my own personal sight;p

ok it was last weekend when we go for the musical theater at Istana Budaya..this musical is an adaptation of a Malay movie entitled CINTA (which means "love") - so theyve changed e title a bit & add up "Terima Kasih" (thank you) - which id prefer if they just stick to e original movie title *much simpler & iconic*..but ive never watched e movie *im sorry, jst cannot help it - how many times i should make it clear tht i dont usually watch Malay movies - which im gettin tired 2 explain y*..& im not really into this love drama thing *prefer romantic comedy if i have to watch somethin lovey dovey..haha*..but still, ive never really watched a big production musical theatre *so lame huh -_-*..so yeah i am pretty interested to see how they translate a love drama movie into theater with songs and dances!

ok i wont talk about e synopsis - so many have wrote abt tht..but i would jst give some reviews on e cast performances..but pls, this is jst my own personal review - with no offensive intention..but if ive made any, i am really sorry ok:)

1. The Green Couple - which started e story with the girl, Arianna lookin 4 his long lost love & accidentally run through Taufik, who's willing to help her.

Nadia Aqilah as Arianna was pretty good..never heard of her, dont even know anythin about her, & still not really attracted to look for more of her *sorry*..she can sing & pretty well act too..she pretty much lived up tht bubbly personality out of Arianna..but i didnt found anythin natural about it..its all performin..so not really drew into e performance..& sometimes it jst seems too much..maybe shes tryin too hard to lived up somethin like broadway, but tht jst didnt really fit e shoes..so im really sorry..not a fan

Vince Chong as Taufik was kinda funny actually..well we actually kinda run through Vince while on our way 2 e elevator..he was somewht phoning i guess, & i almost didnt recognize him..but thanks 2 e mic tht taped on his cheek - which gave me an obvious clue he's one of e performer..he looks bigger thn he used to be! maybe its e clothes he put on *who knows*..but his performance, looks a lil bit of amatur..he's a really good singer!!! how i wish he got more songs 2 perform *i mean it* !!! but on e acting side, he's ok with tht awkward nerdy character of Taufik..looks a bit stiff - maybe it was intended to look like tht..but yeah sometimes he really makes e crowd laugh..so its an ok performance

2. The Blue Encounter - which 1st appeared when Cikgu Elyas was tryin to get his watch fixed at a personal fav @ friends' watch shop which was already been took over by a new cafe @ restaurant; by makcik Rubiah @ Ruby

Safura as Rubiah @ Ruby clearly is e best 1 in e bunch personally 4 me..she is jst a natural performer..when she sang, it was jst awesome..her voice - lovely amazing..her acting - effortless yet convincing..& i can never forget when this 1 time she jst accidentally called 1 of her worker @ e cafe by her own name a.k.a Ruby..she quickly cover it up & make a joke out of it..everyone was laughing..tht moment was jst hysterical..i even asked myself again & again, tht scene was it planned @ it jst sliped frm her mouth? seriously she's jst really good..how i wish there was more parts of her character/story..

Latiff Ibrahim as Cikgu Elyas..not really familiar of him *shame on me*..but yeah another veteran who's a good example of a real performer..a good singer & actor with nothin much to say..but sometimes i felt like his status as a performer was a bit like overrated in this production as there were seems too much of his appearance esp on e singing part..its not tht i dont like his singing, but i think its a bit unfair as theres so much more main characters *& talent* in e story but on e singing side, its almost like becomin his musical show @ concert..& btw, i dnt think younger audience would really drew into him *jst my personal thoughts*

3. The Orange Family - which 1st encountered when Haris *a.k.a Baba - 2 her daughter* came with her daughter & bought her an "expensive ice cream" from a stall by e road..*cynical huh..lol*..e drama kicked off when her wife Airin revealed tht she's in love with another guy..*OMG*

Norish Karman as Airin was..good or maybe ok..im totally not a fan of her *sorry*..acting side - shes good..singing - never thought she can sing, i mean its an ok singing *jst ok ok*..but wonder y theres so much of her line in English - which she delivered with a very cocky attitude *i think*..& ive been asking myself is tht e character or herself? maybe shes jst really into e character @ mybe she jst meant to play these kind of character *she played a lot of these kind of roles right?*..cos i really hate tht character!!! i mean seriously i hate Airin!!! ladies outthere, pls dont ever be a wife like her!!!

Tony Eusoff as Haris was also good..he was said 1 of e most experienced stage performer in e bunch..no wonder tht he delivered a very natural & effortless performance..& i like tht he didnt try too much @ too hard like some of e actors..but actually, when ive watched him in movies before, i think his facial expression is e best of him..he got this believable expression..but of course i cannot see tht in theater esp from a 3rd floor..lol..singing side, dnt know tht he can sing..not really tht good, but still pretty good & i think he gt a nice voice..bt he rather stick 2 acting though;p

4. The Pink Couple - kicked off at a scene in a bookstore when this playboy'ish businessman catch a glimpse of this 1 salesgirl/shopkeeper/worker & tried to attract her attention by disturbing her while shes arranging e magazines..

Faradhiya as Azura was pretty impressive..i alrdy know she can act - based on some *a lot actually* of her performances in tv series esp..& of cos she can sing as she was 1st introduced 2 e mainstream as a singer right..& yeah she did good on both in this show too..but somewht i was pretty disappointed tht she only get 2 sing in a few parts - jst like Vince..i think she can really sing - love tht tone of her voice..wonder y she didnt continue active as a singer

Shajiry Damery as Azlan..was pretty good also - acting side..but singing - no no no..he maybe was a singer, but i jst not into his singing at all..sometimes it was kinda painful *ouch!* to watch *& hear* him singing & dancing..mayb its not his genre of music? wonder y he got so many singing part?! no offense but sometimes i jst wish it was someone else singing when it was him performing..but his acting was pretty good..mayb he can keep acting & left tht singing 4 others? huhu

5. The Yellow Siblings - Dani 1st appeared singing happily with his friends on e street when her elder sister Dian encountered with anger askin him 2 change 4 a better life..

Deja Moss as Dian was pretty impressive..she can act & she can sing..but actually i was hopin 4 more from her esp on e singing side..she was famous for her big voice & i was hopin 2 see & hear her belting out those pipes..but it was rather average and a pretty safe performance..maybe it was due 2 e needs 4 e continuous performance every night & also days on e weekends..& she was saving e vocal for e next & further show..so it was ok..

Anding Indrawani Zaini as Dani was - i am really sorry to say this but, it was really dissapointing..i jst cant or actually dont wanna talk much abt it..e acting was far behind e rest - seems so much of "acting" acting..he was really tryin bt jst not pleasing to watch..& his singing, again i am really sorry, despite tht he came from a singing reality show, hearing his singing voice live was quite painful..totally not a fan of tht voice..& he also sounds like he's tryin so hard technically on his singing which sounds rather robotic..ive watched some of him in Hotel Mania - & tht 1 was ok..but this 1..no further comment..*if Anding ever read this - i am really sorry, its jst an honest personal opinion..perhaps u can polish them more next time*

ok done with e cast & their performances..so wht else i like about this musical theater?

1.the big 6 cubes as e main props tht revolves around those 5 different stories..it was very multifunctional *it slides on e stage to give a different atmosphere*..it can be a small cafe or a big restaurant, an office room, a bookstore, a house, a bedroom, a hospital with some rooms, & even a train station among others..theyve changed those cubes from somethin to another without a break *except tht half time break*..usin e same thing as another thing like tht bed was a bed at the hospital but it would b a wardrobe in the bedroom..

2.e intro was totally a must watch!!! with those fluorescent light bulbs on those cubes, it looks like a music video came alive..i mean yeah it was kinda cliche 4 a music video, but its jst beautiful..& this is a musical theater not a music video..lol

3.All e finishing and extra roles are in white (except towards e end - after e break, all e extra r in black) while the main characters got their own different colors for each stories..so eventhough there were so many extras, our focus would still b on e main characters and we can clearly see who's related to who based on their attire colour..

3.there r of cos some great music moments, & when it was all together singing, it sounds so beautiful..yeah sure not all but some songs r still really good

thats all i guess..so guys if u havent watched it yet, u still got till 6 March which is tomorow? lol (u still can try 4 tonite & tomorow nite)..good luck with tht..btw theres also many other recognized artist like Leya (Hotfm) - good 1!! she was so damn funny!!, Diddy (AF) - He did sang some parts too, Hunny Madu (Flyfm), Akma (AF), & many others - ive heard there r some more from other reality TV competition beside AF like OIAM..till then..ciao

1. Casey Abrams - tht voice is just..dont know how to say..i jst love tht voice & the way he sings..theres some signature there..

its been very stressful lately!!! so much to do & so much to get done..well its jst e assignments season..lol..& in e next 2 weeks, we'll b havin our 1st ever practicum!!! yay!!! *with a dishonest sound..huhu*..so i honestly dont know, but this song jst popped in my head..

How To Fix Water Damaged Mp3?

ok this is a very important lesson which ive learned from my own very fresh experience..this jst happened abt a few days ago, when i was doin my laundry..while i was takin out my clothes from e machine, e least thing ive ever thought was having my mp3 got so damn washed in e laundry - & it jst did!!!..of cos i was so freaked out..i love it so so much!!!

@ 1st, i really dunno wht 2 do..im jst blanked!!! so heres wht i did - accidentally & intentionally:

1. The 1st thing i did was pull off e ear plug & take off e USB cap..i even try 2 shake it somewht like trying 2 get e water came out from any holes on e mp3 body cos i can totally see e water on e screen!!! but yeah e shaking thing did nothing - i mean visually..

hopeless~

2. Then i put it standing upside down with e USB plug as e bottom..with a hope e water might flow out from e USB plug..lol

only then i started searching for some tips of handling this situation on e net.. & i gt some pretty much helpful, believable & reliable tips & tricks:

1. Act fast. Immediately remove your MP3 player from the water and get it to a dry location.

2. Open your MP3 player as soon as possible without getting the inside more wet. Remove the battery from the MP3 player if possible so that it doesn't feed power to the MP3 player. Water combined with an electrical current can short out the player

3. Disassemble your MP3 player as much as possible. Doing so might void the warranty, but --- in almost all cases --- so will dropping it in water.

4. Rinse the MP3 player or its parts in distilled water because tap water is ionized and conductive. If you dropped your unit in a sugary or greasy liquid, use a mixture of water isopropyl alcohol to break down those additives.

5. Dab the unit dry with a towel. Blow-dry with a hair dryer set on the lowest heat setting and speed until all visible moisture is gone. make sure u do not overheat e mp3 or it may jst give more harm than dryin it.

4. Fill a Tupperware container or plastic storage bag that is at least twice the size of your MP3 player halfway up with silica gel. Place your MP3 player and all of its components in the container or bag and fill the container the rest of the way up with silica gel.

5. Close the container and allow it to sit for a day or two. The silica gel packs, often found in some foods and boxes of new shoes, will absorb the remaining moisture.

6. Open the container and switch out the silica gel for new gel. Be sure that you do not lose any of your device components when switching the gel. Close the container and allow it to sit for another day.

7. Reassemble the parts and power the MP3 player to see if it works. If it doesn't, replace the battery before buying a new MP3 player

if u cannot find any or enough silica gell, u can use rice instead cos it also believed able 2 absorb e moisture. or u may jst place the MP3 player in front of an air-conditioning unit or under e sun.

but seriously, im in e hostel right now, & i got no such silica gell @ rice & i dont even have any hairdryer but a bath towel..hoho..so wht i really did then was:

3. leave it standing upside down next to e window so it would get some fair exposure 2 e sun & e wind..

4. after abt 2 days, when i saw theres no more water inside of e mp3 screen, i finally try 2 switch it on..at first it didnt do any good..then i tried 2 push e power button a lil bit longer..e result..still e same..huhu

5. then i push e reset button & tried to switch on e mp3 again..there was some progress, e screen was glowing 4 a sec..then completely blank again

6. then i tried to push e power button a little bit longer again..& e mp3 finally powered up..jst for few seconds though..with an error - NO BATTERY!!! huhuhu

7. so i tried 2 connect e player to my notebook..unfortunately it did not detect e player. again i was freaked out! i thought maybe e mp3 USB plug might be broken already. but i jst leave it connected 4 a while. after awhile i disconnect it & tried to connect it via another hub, & e result still e same.

finally connected!!!

8. then i jst leave it connected 2 e notebook 4 a lil more while before takin it off again. well as some says, third time lucky, & it is jst pretty much did!!! my mp3 finally connected to my notebook on e 3rd attempt!!! & started charging..

9. i disconnect e device only after e player fully charge..then i tried to switch it on.. tadaaaaaaa!!! it works jst like it used to..& theres no problem at all - currently & hopefully will never..^_^

back to life..& im even usin it right now ^_^

so thats it..e story of my clumsiness..huhu..well for sure, thats totally e biggest lesson of all 2 be learned..& e moral of e story, whenever u r doin ur laundry, always check & even double check ur clothes pockets 2 make sure theres no valuable stuff - except those clothes of cos, are included..or u might jst get them back so cleaned up..huhu..peace

p/s: u might also use these tricks to fix ur other water damaged gadgets like ur iphone maybe if it ever happened..who knows it might also do u wonder:)

yay!!! finally!!! Glee season 2 will be back on e show!!! its been so long *its alrdy been like forever 4 me* since e special christmas episode was aired..& now, after a pretty much long hiatus, e glee show will be back continuing their 2nd season right after this upcomin super bowl on february 6th!!!

how i miss them so much..theres been so much thing goin on around e club, e school, & even outside *since Kurt already left e school 4 a better & safer environment*..but dnt knw y, i jst had this feelin tht Kurt may not be stayin there like forever..bt who knows, anything is possible:)

& i honestly would say, i am most excited abt Gwyneth returning 2 e show..her appearance in The Substitute as Missy Holly Holiday was jst wonderful..i jst love her character so much - not 2 mentioned her singing, tht Forget You rendition of hers is jst somethin i cannot get over with;p..& i would be really pleased 2 see her 2 b really involved with Mr. Schue - tht guy really needs a break from all his love drama thing!!!

Khurafat - Deal With The Demons

well its surely not e latest movie in cinemas but it still available in showing..so last night, we go to watch e movie..yea sure its sounds pretty weird huh tht i jst go for a Malay movie - no offenese, but only a few will really attract me..so after several mixed reviews from some friends, i thought, y dnt jst give it a try..

1st of all, i would say, i didnt regret it..its quiet ok actually..yes theres some of my friends said tht its a really good movie, a very horrifying one, like even theres some guys in e crowd scream like a lil girl while they were watchin e movie *wonder y huh;p*..but last night was a whole different story..there was some family with kids around us, even beside & in front of me, but i didnt really hear a scream which i was expecting..even e lil girl beside me seems so quiet..& theres even some times where u can only hear giggles 2 break e silence..hoho

FUN FACT:
i did not know tht u can actually have ur kids sharing seats in e cinema like 2 kids a seat, 1 on ur lap & etc..wht a family gathering huh ^_^

no not tht it doesnt scare e audience, i guess maybe bcause e movie uses more like a shocking approaches..yes they had a pretty good use of shocking elements, but i jst kinda felt like it was too short like it jst end too soon when i was thinking of more - so yeah it was pretty much a disappointment at some point when i was waiting 4 some more when actually thats it, nothin more..huhu

e story line was pretty good, not much of predictable, but i must say, e ending despite tht some claimed it 2 be so much unpredictable, i personally think it was a bit cliche..when it comes 2 e ending, when e concluding part started, i jst felt like, i think ive watched this before, not in a particular movie, but several movies..but whtsoever, at least e idea was still pretty much "fresh" in a local movie - i mean if it was already used in another local movies, thats totally pretty much a crap right..

so y even after all this comments ive given i still consider e movie quiet ok? well kudos 2 those shocking elements tht works out really well..& i must say tht it managed 2 give me some goosebumps in some parts which i jst wished there was more..myb i was jst askin too mcuh? lol..thts all i guess..this is jst my personal review so take it or leave it..peace ^_^

here r jst some pics from our visit 2 lil New Zealand on december last year..its a very nice place..felt so like abroad..bt e truth is, its only in Malaysia, 2 b exact in Kundasang, Sabah :)

this dairy farm located at the foot of Mount Kinabalu..so it is pretty cold up there..& u can actually see e peak of e mountain like jst upon u..it really jst stood right there, but of course u gonna need 2 search for it through e thick fog (depends on e weather actually i guess)..but dont worry, e fog do move (very slowly though) so u will see it (i mean depends on ur patience & interest;p)

if u come around 3pm, ull get e chance 2 watch e milking process (with machine actually)..& if u got thirst, u can actually buy e fresh milk right there..lol..but seriously im tellin u, e milk taste really good, really fresh..but no need 2 think of buyin more 2 bring home bcos e milk cannot b kept 4 long - maybe max 5 days refrigerated..

entrance fee? only RM3 per person..hoho..but e journey u hve 2 go through 2 get there, pretty much a journey - i mean e road..but it still worth it:) so if u ever come 2 Sabah, maybe on ur way 2 poring, make sure ull stop by at this place 2 hve a glimpse of New Zealand dairy farm - or pretty much of it..thts y some jst call it little New Zealand ^_^ peace~

Finally!!! My Long Awaited Student Card!!!

this is kinda funny but this is for real!!! yesterday i (to b exact, e whole class actually) finally got my student card..we've been waiting for this damn card for 2 years alrdy!!! my gosh..can u imagine tht..we r alrdy in our 3rd year degree now, but never had a student card (as a degree student), untill yesterday..

despite tht i look like i jst had a bad sun tan on my face, with an old designed student card with our past director *whos already retired around mid last year* sign on the back (lol), & a misplaced courses - PJ actually our 1st minor, with BM as e 2nd so it should've been PSV/PJ/BM instead, at least i do have a student card now..lol..thanks 2 my classmates who've never give up workin on e almost like never ending student card issue thing..*can never forget e faces of my classmates when they got their student card - they were jst very damn excited u know..hehe*..peace;p

Those Big Fish Bit Me!!!!

this is a no joke!!! those fish really bites!!! & seriously they r really big!!! no kidding!!!

i got fishbites!!!

but no worries..they do bites but they dont eat *despite tht they r bigger than piranha*..but im tellin u e experience being surrounded & bitten by those fish really r kinda scary at first..but it was fascinating actually..lol

this place is actually a fish spa..but totally a no ordinary fish spa like we used to see @ go..this fish spa is in the river..i mean real river with flowing water..& those fish r not caged or what..they swim freely..& u just need to dip urself in e water, with a help of some fish food, jst in a sec they will b everywhere around u..seriously!!!

this fish spa a.k.a Luanti Fish Spa is located in Ranau, Sabah..the entrance is just next to the Sabah Tea entrance - u can see a big fish up on e entrance..it only opens on day - closed around 5pm - depends on e weather though, daily *if im not mistaken*..the entrance fee is only RM5 for feet spa & RM10 to swim with e fish, & ull get about 15 - 20 minutes of this amazing experience..seriously it really worth every penny - they say fish spa is good for skin..

so guys, ive been there, when will u? hehe..peace ^_^

American Idol Season 10 Premieres!!!

yes u heard me right!! American Idol season 10 will be premiering tonight!!! unfortunately, i mean in e US..lol..so folks around Asia or 2 b exact Malaysia, u gonna have 2 wait a lil bit i guess..maybe not so long since StarWorld channel usually do a really good job in airing this show asap after e US airing in e past years..so nothin 2 b worried of i guess;p

well sure theres still some issues 4 some fans out there, including me!!! i mean, im in college right now, & currently we dont have Astro here, & i even myself jst not in a TV mood whenever im here *e TV room smewht jst became e last place i wanted 2 be - except when theres a must watch programme on TV..haha*..still 4 fellow Malaysian who didnt get 2 watch StarWorld, 8tv will come in handy with e show am i right..wht e heck is goin on with me today? i sounds jst like a TV representative..hahaha

ok now back 2 e topic..yes its a clear view tht AI ratings in e recent years doesnt seems 2 do really well being compared with wht it was way back around e 5th & 6th seasons..with Simon no more on e judging couch, i mean he was one of e main reason people watch e show -at least i am;p, 2 hear wht hes gonna say about these hopefuls right!! but who knows e new judging board *except randy* might do a wonder..hmm

i personally still much confused with JLo been brought 2 e table..its not i doubt her as a judge, but really? she started as a dancer who appeared on a music video then moved forward as e singer and later act on movies..while this show is about? but then i heard tht *2 b exact - read* e new season will feature e contestent not jst singing but also will b involved much with their performace - from live bands & dancers..so its gonna b a show more than jst singing huh? *& i also smell a fierce competition with e upcomin US version of X-Factor huh - with Simon leading e pack..lol..so coincidence;p*..so now i can slightly see e reasons behind JLo placement, she is a PERFORMER..good singer dont jst sing but perform too right? & wht about Steven Tyler? i would say...no comment *hands down* ;p

while talking about AI, it is so not AI enough without talking about fav previous idol @ idol contestant right.. i would say my fav previous idol contestant would be Megan Joy from e 8th season..she is just unique..i think her uniqueness brought a new & a completely different flavour 2 e show..she might not be e best singer, but she got these cool pipes & vibes..i did hope she got further in e show as i found its kinda boring 2 watch all these good singers but so much of typical *no offense*..honestly i kinda stop watching *or surfin 4 e videos* tht season 4 awhile after her elimination..huhu..so lets jst hope *i hope its not only me* tht e latest season will see more of this kind of contestant..enough with the highest notes, good like almost perfect pitch & etc..bring in e memorable & identical talents please~

back 2 megan joy *i am jst a fan of her, dont blame me*, i honestly kinda pity her post-idol career..i mean not tht pity pity, but kinda frustrated actually..shes been writing, singing & producing lots of songs by herself, most of them can be heard in her facebook page & youtube..she also did some shows & im tellin u she got some seriously great tracks overthere!!! she puts a very good use of her unique voice range in most of her songs..but how come till now she is still unsigned?! oh my..tht is jst so unfair..it is so killin me 2 wait 4 her official debut album 2 come out..cos i really think she got somethin to offer..

hi there everyone!!!! wow!!! how long is it?!!! i mean how long i havent updated this blog?!! my oh my, i cant even believe myself..lol..1st of all, i am really sorry to my dear bestfriend JAY, tht i havent posted anything here for quiet long huh..i got so many things to tell, so many things to share..but i jst cant..btw, i was back home for almost 2 months last november till december..

well, its hard to admit but hell yeah e internet connection back at home is just a nightmare..so now here i am, back to the campus 4 almost a month already..only by now, gt a chance to finally post something here..just to open a new chapter for this blog, e 2011 session!!! i hope its not too late to still wish u guys HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! *i am so outdated;p*

choc choco chocolates

well as u can see up there, those r actually some catch from e 4th Malaysian Chocolate Fair which was held at e MidValley Megamal about 2 weeks ago..it was a great event..got loads off free tester..unfortunately, i have a very limited budget to spend on, so these r e only goodies i got *f.y.i im a choc craze!!!*

there r some "Alyonka" chocs *with e baby face on its wraps* which came from Moscow, Russia, & some Shirin Asal products *which originated from Iran* ; RORO eclair toffe, HiBYE choc center filled cookies, & Dream bitter chocs..me personally, just lovin e Alyonka choc e most..my gosh i am jst so fell in love with tht choc..unfortunately, tht choc jst can never be seen in e usual Malaysian market *how i wish maybe someday, after this, it will be commercially marketed here*..huhu

still, i think it was very worthwhile, also a great choc hunt day 4 me XD
